A film on the Ujjain Jyotirlinga: an aerial pass over the temple town, the silver Mahakal mask carried out through the crowd, milk poured over the lingam, the bhasma aarti in its own smoke. Between those sequences the mythologist Devdutt Pattanaik speaks straight to camera, which is where lip sync has nowhere to hide — switch language mid-sentence and his mouth stays with the words.
